I am anxious to read "Gulliver's Travels". It is one of those classics that has slipped by me over the years, one that I've wanted to read since my childhood but I never got around to it.
Does anyone else recall a made-for-TV movie adaptation of this book that was released sometime around the mid-90s? I believe it starred Ted Danson, and I recall it being a rather bizarre film.

You are right about the Ted Danson TV Movie, it was in 1996 and it was only one of several adaptations of Swift's novel. There was a 1939 animated version, and in 1960, The 3 Worlds of Gulliver was released, another movie version came out in 1977 and there was also a 1992 animated TV series.
Gulliver seems to be one popular dude.
There are clips of the Danson version in the film we will be seeing.
